Monsanto has been hit with another lawsuit over claims chemicals in weed killer, Roundup, causes cancer. Two daughters and the surviving spouse of a Texas man who died from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma filed a lawsuit in St. Louis County in Missouri where Monsanto is based.
According to a press release from the firm representing the family, Monsanto “negligently, willingly, and wrongfully designed, promoted, and marketed Roundup despite knowing about the risks of glyphosate, its active herbicidal component.”

The case is one of at least 13,000 lawsuits that have been filed against Monsanto across the nation.
