As Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Operations, he oversees the firm's compliance program, SEC regulations, regulatory filings, and internal policy standards, while also managing accounting and finance functions. Known for his proactive problem-solving and willingness to tackle complex challenges head-on, Garrett is responsible for executing and monitoring the firm's compliance program while overseeing critical operational functions that keep Pravati running smoothly.
Over the past decade in litigation finance, Garrett has influenced more than $700 million in direct lending transactions. He joined Pravati Capital in 2022 as Vice President of Investment Operations, focusing on investor relations and capital raising before expanding his responsibilities across operations, compliance, and strategy. Prior to Pravati, he served as Senior Operations Analyst at Virage Capital Management, where he gained direct exposure to regulatory reporting, audits, and policy creation for the firm's private credit strategy.
Garrett graduated from the University of Texas at Austin's prestigious McCombs School of Business with a bachelor's degree in Finance and Investment Management, equipping him with both the technical skills and strategic mindset required to build scalable, compliant operations in a complex and evolving industry.
