Bruce is a former litigation partner in an Atlanta law firm and senior in-house counsel at two Fortune 50 corporations, with special expertise in antitrust, complex litigation and mass torts. He has also served as Special Assistant to the Attorney General of Texas, and, prior to law school, as a United States Army field artillery officer. He is a Distinguished Graduate with Honors of the Virginia Military Institute and received his Juris Doctor summa cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. Bruce clerked for a judge in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and also holds a master’s degree in History from the University of North Texas, a Post-Graduate Diploma with Merit in European Union Competition Law from King’s College London, and a Master of Law degree from Michigan State University.
